Thirst Edition is rising from the ashes of Covid19 and re-opening on Monday 17th May we’re not hanging about. So, come along for a great weekend of live music, over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May, Friday 28th – 30th. A repeat of the very successful Street Music weekend we held last August. The line-up is as follows: – Friday 8.15 ish is Oliver Darling, Ollie has worked with some big names the latest one being Rita Ora and, has his own very successful band “The Dirty Robbers”. Playing anything from Blues to Rock n Roll he always puts on a great show. Saturday night 8.15 ish we have another local band “Wired” led by Barney Porter they’re as good as any in the business and always go down a storm with, a very extensive repertoire this band can play almost everything, and will really get the crowd going. Sunday 4.30 ish we have Des Wynes on guitar and vocals supported by Mark on Bass Ukulele (yes bass ukulele) with Des’ wife Marian on vocals, playing some great stuff including Irish and Scottish, and a bit of folk here and there. On Monday 4.30 ish we have our resident musician Nick “The Legend” Nickerson playing popular music including, Skiffle, Ballads, Pop and Rock from the 50s to date, come along and see why he’s such a “Legend” All the bands have confirmed so just need to organise the lorry.
